Capital Valletta & Three Cities Orientation Tour
A full day classical Valletta Touraccompanied by English Speaking licenced guide. Valletta is an open air museum. This tour includes a visit to the Unesco World Heritage Site, St. John’s Co Cathedral, where one finds two masterpieces of the famous Italian Artist, Caravaggio. Guests will then proceed to the Oldest Café in town for a brief stop to enjoy the typical Maltese Soft Drink, Kinnie, made with aromatic herbs and oranges and to taste a local delicacy ‘Pastizz’ made with filo pastry stuffed with ricotta cheese. Tour will include a visit to the Grand Master’s Palace State Rooms & Armoury, the Palace is today the office of the President of Malta. A 30 minute ride on a typical Maltese boat ‘ Dghajsa’ across the harbour where guests will reach Vittoriosa, which was the home to the Knights of Malta until 1571. By the dock, a two course lunch shall take place followed by a visit to the Maritime Museum, which was the Bakery of the British Fleet in Malta during the British rule. Last but not least a visit to a 4000 BC underground Temple shall take place. Transfer back to the hotel.
