We are proud to introduce an exciting new range of cruises from Saga, one of the UK’s leading cruise operators. Saga is unique in providing travel exclusively for today’s over 50s. Over the years they have built a strong reputation for the quality of service they offer and their competitive pricing. Saga offers two very different cruising styles. The famous sister ships Saga Rose and Saga Ruby have a proud heritage of providing traditional cruising in the finest style. Built for long-distance journeys by sea these classic sisters continue to offer the best in style and elegance afloat.
Since joining Saga in 1997, Saga Rose has gone from strength to strength. The high level of passengers who return year after year is a testament to her excellent cuisine, superb service and welcoming atmosphere. A ratio of 350 officers and crew to 587 passengers ensures that the service on board is outstanding, and the Filipino crew and British and European officers take pride in offering an attentive yet unobtrusive service. Saga Rose remains a firm favourite for those who enjoy cruising in elegant and classic surroundings combined with the best of cruising traditions. Saga Ruby, the sister ship to Saga Rose, joined the fleet in 2005 following an extensive UK£17m refit. Whilst she shares many of Saga Rose’s much admired qualities, Saga Ruby’s classic feel is complemented by subtle, contemporary furnishings. Providing a similarly high ratio of 380 crew to 655 passengers service on board is again exemplary
