Since our establishment in 1991, we have made it our aim to provide our clients with a lasting memory of a journey made with like-minded travellers, whether you are one of a hundred aboard an exploration cruise of Antarctica, or one of fifteen exploring the historic route of Tamerlane. We continue to expand our repertoire to include new destinations shaped by new discoveries, world events and historic themes, whether these are sea cruises, river cruises, escorted tours, train journeys or combinations of any of these to achieve the most interesting and comfortable journey.

Charaidew
The RV Charaidew is a 38m long, twin-engined, steel-hulled passenger ship. The vessel has twelve generous-sized twin-bedded air-conditioned cabins with en suite shower and WC. All cabin accommodation is on the upper deck, as is the bar and sitting area. The dining room is on the lower deck, while a top sundeck offers additional open-air seating and sun loungers. Furnishings make extensive use of natural materials and local fabrics. Breakfast and lunch on board is a mixture of Assamese and Continental dishes while dinner each evening is Assamese which is milder than most Indian cuisines. A full range of wines, spirits and beer is available at an extra cost on board. The owner and operator, the Assam Bengal Navigation Co., is an Indian/British joint venture based in Guwahati and its directors have a wealth of experience in both operating river vessels and Indian tourism.
