Company Background

In late 2008 the idea of a 50′s & 60′s Rock’n'Roll cruise was discussed and the company Blue Suede Cruise was formed in early 2009.

John Welsh became Company Director and was highly instrumental in the success of Blue Suede Cruise (50′s & 60′s Rock’n'Roll). The cruise is a sell-out and will will set sail in November 2010.

Introducing Music Cruises Australia

After the ticket sales for Blue Suede Cruise proved to be a record success, John could see the potential in offering other styles of music cruises targeting specific genres and eras of music.

With that in mind, John formed Music Cruises Australia to cater for the specialist music cruise market.

The first cruise under the Music Cruises Australia banner will set sail in 2011 and will be an absolute treat for Elvis Presley fans, The King Tribute Cruise will feature some of world’s best Elvis tribute artists.
