Today explore the Hungarian Puszta region, the vast flat plain. Visit a typical village, where you will be met by horse-herds, take a ride in an ox-cart and marvel at the equestrian skills of the riders during a horse show. Arrive in Vidin and see the Baba Vida Fortress, guarding the Danube. Then travel by coach to Belogradchik to see the Roman Kaleto Fortress, on the north slopes of the Balkan Mountains.
