Hapag-Lloyd Cruises

Hapag-Lloyd Cruises - a passion
Four ships with their own unique character, hundreds of destinations, on-board and on-land programmes to suit every taste and your mood at the time, attractive travel combination, short trips to get a feel for what we offer and long passages for enthusiasts and connoiseurs. Flexibility and variety are the dominant features of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises. But one thing never changes: the fulfilment of personal wishes and your conception of how the cruise should be are always the focal point for us. We want you to shed your everyday cares and discover how wonderful it is to live without having to look at the clock. A whole new kind of freedom awaits you. Cruises are not only very beautiful, but also a very individual form of travel.

How about the Europa, the most beautiful yacht in the world. The EUROPA 2007 was again the only cruise ship worldwide to be awarded more than 5 stars and this is for the seventh time in succession. It promises unique cruises for travellers with high expectations. We offer the perfect combination of individual service and exclusive programmes, excellent cuisine and elegant furnishings.

The Hanseatic warmly welcomes you to your personal expedition onboard. She takes course for places that are untouched and fascinatingly foreign. With a maximum of 183 guests and a discreet 5 star service you will experience and learn about the world from a different aspect.

The Bremen, the discoverer with a sense for adventure is an expedition ship of a special kind. You will be pampered by our crew in a familiar, relaxed and comfortable 4 star atmosphere whilst heading for the regions afar.

The Columbus, a high-class globetrotter, the focuses on entertainment and the joy of living. It offers destinations on all continents - each day new experiences await you in a casual and relaxed atmosphere.

But, regardless of which ship you decide to spend your holiday on, they all have one thing in common: they are the best in their category. Classic cruise or expedition, tuxedo or casual clothing - Hapag-Lloyd Cruises is always worth a try.

Ship info

Europa

The Europa, the flagship of the Hapag Lloyd fleet, sets international standards: for the eighth time in succession, it was the only cruise ship in the world to be awarded the coveted ranking of 5-stars plus by Berlitz Cruise Guide 2010. Never before has there been so much space for each guest and so much private sphere in which to simply feel good.

The accommodation for the maximum of 408 guests on the Europa is comprised solely of suites, each with separate living and sleeping areas. Every one of them has a walk-in wardrobe, and almost all of them have a private veranda. One small detail: every passenger on board is given his/her own e-mail address.

All of the guests are served at a single seating and order à la carte in the Europa Restaurant with the large panorama windows. The more intimate speciality restaurants, "Restaurant Dieter Muller" and "Venezia", serve the very best cuisine. Replacing Europa’s former Euro-Asian eatery ‘Oriental’, the new restaurant will be co-run by Europa’s head chef and its creator, celebrity chef Dieter Muller.

Muller will be onboard Europa serving up his contemporary menu creations (said to be a blend of French, Asian and Mediterranean influences) for a total of 70 days a year. Lauded as Germany’s greatest chef, he has been praised by the Michelin Guide.

International show stars appear on the stage of the Europa Lounge, our concert hall and ballroom. Various bars and lounges, the library with Internet access and an auditorium for talks and seminars guarantee relaxation in sophisticated surroundings.

A golf simulator, the hair stylist and beauty salon, the fitness room, sauna, massages, the wellness area and our swimming pool with Magrodom are all at your service to ensure your well-being. In addition, the exclusive boutique and Wempe, the jeweller's, on the Promenade invite you to take an extended shopping trip.
