Itinerary

Day 1. Arrive Dubrovnik

On arrival be met at the airport in Dubrovnik and transferred to your hotel. With the rest of the day at leisure, perhaps step out and familiarise yourself with the area or relax by the Adriatic Sea. Tonight, gather for a Welcome Reception at which you’ll enjoy the opportunity to get to know your fellow travellers.

Day 2. Dubrovnik Sightseeing, Freedom of Choice Touring

This morning, a tour of Dubrovnik includes the old town of Stari Grad, the Pharmacy, the War Memorial Museum and Rectors Palace. This afternoon, take an excursion to Lokrum Island, or take a Croation Folklore tour of Cilipi. Tonight, enjoy a delicious Welcome Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3. Montenegro

Day 5. Sarajevo

Today journey to Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Explore the sights of this historic city.

Day 6. Mostar, Split, Dine Around Dinner

Travel back into Croatia and on to Split today. On a tour, see ancient architecture, the harbour and Diocletian’s Palace, one of the most imposing Roman ruins in existence. You’ll also visit the Old Roman Square, Peristil, Cardo Decumanus streets, the Cathedral of St Domnius, the Baptistry and the statue of Grgur Ninski. Tonight, choose to dine at your hotel or in a local restaurant, the Adriatic Graso. Located on the Sustipan Cliff overlooking the sea, this restaurant offers delicious slow-cooked dishes, full of Dalmationa flavour and spice.

Day 7. Split, Freedom of Choice Touring

Day 8. Split, Plitvice Lakes National Park

Today discover the magic of water and woods. A tour of this World Heritage-listed area includes a journey by both electric boat and rail.

Enjoy a tour of the romantic Hungarian capital today. In the afternoon, exclusive to APT, visit the Hungarian State Opera House, which is widely recognised as one of the most splendid examples of Neo-Renaissance architecture in the world. Absorb the grandeur of the building from outside, then venture inside for an exclusive tour, a glass of champagne and a private opera recital of two or three ariettas. This evening enjoy dinner on board, before your ship sets off on a twilight cruise through the city, allowing you to take in the glittering lights of Budapest. On your second day in Vienna, choose your touring activity from a great selection. Alternatively, you may like to take an excursion to nearby Bratislava in Slovakia for a Communist-themed tour.

Empress Maria Theresa said of Melk, "If I had never come here, I would have regretted it." Ms Amalegro is sister ship to the ms Amadagio. On board you will enjoy the luxury of more space than on any other cruise ship in Europe. There are 2 lounges located on the upper deck where you can enjoy panoramic river views, the Panorama Lounge which accommodates up to 150 passengers, and the smaller Adagio Lounge which is perfect for groups and located in a glassed-in wellness area featuring a Fitness Center and a Massage and Beauty Salon. The ship has an elevator as well as bicycles on board for you to enjoy, while exploring on shore.
 
Inside your tastefully decorated cabin, you'll find all the amenities of a fine hotel, white-on-white plush bedding with down pillows and down duvet, a cozy sitting area, direct-dial telephone, flat-screen TV with local and satellite channels, internet access, safe, individually controlled airconditioning and ample closet space. All 75 staterooms are outside; 62 (82%) feature French balconies.
